Read - Out-of-bounds
My disc is sitting right on the OB line, half in and half out. Is that OB?
The painted OB line is itself out-of-bounds. If any part of the disc is still over in-bounds, the disc is in-bounds. A disc is only OB when it is completely surrounded by the OB area (806.02).

Have a different question?
Ask in plain English, or snap a photo of your lie. Every answer links back to the PDGA Official Rules and Competition Manual.
Not affiliated with the PDGA. The Fairway summarizes the PDGA Official Rules of Disc Golf and Competition Manual for convenience; it is not an official rules source. On the course, the group makes the call and the tournament director’s ruling is final (801.02 / 801.03). Rules change; re-check pdga.com/rules after each update.
